This past spring Prophet sent two GP consultants to Key2Act’s Synergy conference in Orlando to learn about current and new products. You may have read about it in our blog post. They had recently taken training on some of those products, but learned a lot more during the conference. They had the ability to talk with peers and hear about some major announcements. The information and excitement they brought back to Prophet was tremendous.
Microsoft hosts a number of conferences every year including one dedicated to Dynamics GP partners such as Prophet held in Fargo, North Dakota. Prophet sends a number of consultants to this conference every year to learn about new features and the future direction of the product. Although Dynamics GP users aren’t able to attend this partner event, we’re going to share a lot of information we learn at the Prophet User Group on November 7th. If you’ve ever considered attending a conference focusing on Microsoft offerings, here are just a few you may want to check out in no particular order:

Technology is Constantly Changing
Your investment in technology is certainly important, but your users need to know how to use software effectively to maximize your return. There are so many learning opportunities when it comes to Microsoft products and that’s important because technology is always changing. You might have searched for training courses available online or in your area, but your users can also learn a great deal by attending conferences or reading about information released at a recent conference. Attending a conference allows users to share their product experience with peers and discuss products with partners.
Save the Date
While we would love to host a conference in a warmer climate such as Orlando, we’re going to keep it local again this year. We hope to see you at Prophet’s User Group on November 7th at the Cineplex Odeon Cinemas on McGillivray Blvd. Be sure to read our next newsletter for session information.
