Power BI Feature Releases
Being on the latest version of Power BI - Desktop has its advantages. One of them is gaining access to all the latest features.
Over the first quarter of 2019 there has been a great number of new features released.

If you are on windows 10 app install of Power BI - Desktop you will always be on the latest version, however if you install directly from the web you will have to install from the web each month to be on the latest version.
